Listening to music is a very common hobby nowadays. There are a lot of different kinds of music but their fans have one thing in common they mostly use CDs to listen to music. On CDs musical data gets stored and can be played with a device, like a CD-player or computer. Most of the music fans have a big collection of CDs and handle all of them very carefully.
Music fans do a lot of crazy things to be able to listen to their favorite artists and bands. Some of them travel hundreds of kilometers just to be able to go to a concert. They pay a lot of money for the concert tickets and would wait in line for hours to get them. During the concert they try to get as close as possible to the stage. Sometimes they are lucky and can even touch their idols but most of the time they are not able to get close enough to even get a good picture.
Music fans also spend a lot of money on CDs, T-shirts, DVDs or other things which have their favorite band on it. They are even willing to pay double the price for a special edition CD or pay more for a rare copy on the internet. Being a fan of a band is a very expensive hobby. Some bands do not want to make money through merchandising and prefer to only sell their CDs. A few bands even offer free listening or downloading of their songs on their web sides.
Being really lucky means for a music fan to be able to get a CD signed from the artist or band themselves. They would wait for hours queuing in line just to get an autograph. Some people might call that crazy but one thing is for sure it takes commitment. Being able to look at the shelf and seeing a signed copy of the favorite artist makes a lot of people happy. All in all one could say that CDs can not only store the favorite kind of music but can also have a value to the owner from being autographed by the artist.
